Sound Example[edit]

The sound example in the article is misplaced since it suggests that the melody is that composed by Fenton. It isn't. The sound example shows the currrent version of Kimigayo, composed by Oku Yoshiisa and Hayashi Hirosue. A sound realisation of Fenton's composition can be listened to here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwro06_tLZw or at some other youtube sites. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.181.178.26 (talk) 18:06, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Birth place of the father[edit]

In the previous version of the article referred to the birthplace of the father as Brechin, Angus and quoted the article in the Scotsman as a source. But the Scotsman does not say anything about the father's birthplace, it rather says that Fenton lived in Montrose in around 1881 quoting Scottish National Archive record. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JWFenton (talkcontribs) 12:31, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
