I'm not much of a Wikipedia editor, but I do know that Red Sox Nation was the working title of this play. The final title is Johnny Baseball, and it opened last week at the ART in Cambridge.

New info and updated.

Fictional Johnny O'Brien vs. real Johnny O'Brien[edit]

The article describes the main character as "Johnny O'Brien, a hard-luck right-hander on the 1919 Sox" and links the name to Johnny_O'Brien. However, the real player Johnny O'Brien was not a pitcher, was never on the Red Sox, and was not alive in 1919. I think we're dealing with a fictional character and a real-life person who only happen to have the same name. If no one objects in the next few days I will remove the link.

Relatedly, since they appear in a character list alongside Babe Ruth, the article should probably clarify that O'Brien and Daisy Wyatt are fictional characters. This article http://blastmagazine.com/the-magazine/arts/theater/2010/06/johnny-baseball-the-new-musical-about-the-red-sox/ or this interview http://www.baystatebanner.com/arts41-2010-06-10 could be cited.
