Dead or alive?

[edit]

Johnny Mathis/Johnson is very much alive. I can provide an address and if necessary a phone number. I do have pictures of him alive and jamming as of Sept. of 2013. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrehbaum (talkcontribs) 22:27, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here: http://www.discogs.com/reviews?artist=Johnny+Johnson+And+The+Bandwagon#c91624 I've read that Johnny Johnson is not dead. Is there someone who can verify the situation?91.89.105.232 (talk) 21:35, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that there is very little authoritative information about Johnny Johnson / Mathis. One of the most reliable sources seems to be this - which states that he died of cancer in 1979. Wikipedia is based on verifiability rather than "truth" - but if there are reliable sources that indicate that he did not die in 1979 - and not just rumours - please add them here, or change the article itself.
