Untitled[edit]

Are we sure that Jon Hall has both Hollywood Walk of Fame stars? According to the website, the one at 1724 Vine Street is for a "John Hall" in motion pictures. The one at 6933 Hollywood Boulevard is for a "Jon Hall", but for television, and the Jon Hall in this article seems to have no TV activity. Any Jon/John Hall experts who can clarify this? Simon12

Well, a look at IMDB says he has both stars, and that he did do some TV work. Looks like the Walk of Fame website has the name spelled wrong for the start at 1724 Vine Street. Simon12 02:06, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mother Was Tahitian Princess?[edit]

Torres marriages, divorces[edit]

Raquel Torres's page and Jon's give question marks for dates of their divorces and remarriage. These are apparently taken from imdb, which is not referenced but bears the same lack of information. Snezzy (talk) 11:41, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

– #1: the programmer has the same numbers as the actor; #2: The programmer founded Linux, while the actor... is just an actor. I have no other words to explain about his troubled personal life. George Ho (talk) 07:28, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment he did not "found Linux", he founded Linux International, not even close to the same thing. "Linux" was created by Linus Torvalds -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 12:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate move the disambiguation page to the simple location -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 12:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support for these moves. I don't think any of the meanings on the disambiguation page is primary. Note that the programmer is almost never called, specifically, "Jon Hall", though. When his name isn't just given as "maddog", it's invariably written as "Jon 'maddog' Hall", with the nickname inline. 168.12.253.66 (talk) 16:54, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
