Pls clarify sentence "Due to his wavering support..."[edit]

Could someone who understands its intent please fix this sentence? It appears some words are missing, and I don't know enough to guess what was meant.

"Due to his wavering support for new FCC powers to regulate cable providers under intense lobbying pressure from the cable industry, FCC chairman Kevin J. Martin's recent attempts to allow "a la carte" cable service."

Btw, Commission Chairman Kevin J. Martin's page is Kevin Martin.

major edits, cleanup, rewrites, new sources[edit]

Page did not appear to meet any quality standards, certainly not for an officeholder's encyclopedic entry.

  • Removed uncited wording
  • Removed promotional wording
  • Removed plagiarized text
  • Added Infobox
