Article needs some work before becoming an GA.

The lead needs to be expanded a little bit, give the seasons a bit more detail, and his playing style.
A subsection needs to be included about his playing style (only explains it's pitch repertoire), it's not that hard to find considering he's a starting pitcher.

After such an impressive performance... again tone
His performance went relatively unnoticed - I think it should be reworded, rookies who had one at-bat or pitched one inning that aren't a state of the art prospect goes relatively unnoticed.
It explains twice that it was his first Major League win, and it should be explained how the Giants won
Many of the sources cite San Francisco Giants when in fact those are mlb.com news stories correct them.

The word unfortunately a couple of times - reword, that's not proper encyclopedia language
for the first time in his career... unneeded wording since he became mostly a regular that season
His last start before going on the disabled list wasn't bad, though - personal opinion
Sánchez began having a career year - reword 7-6 record isn't a "career year"
Source doesn't mention a son
