It is not correct that Van Severen was shot in Abbeville by "drunk French guards". The soldiers who killed him were not drunk and had received an order to execute their prisoners.
Moreover, Van Severen was not transported to France in a train but in an autobus.
I object to the term execute. This was outright murder of political prisoners and a war crime. --41.19.82.248 (talk) 17:43, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
