Jork and York[edit]

Is there any evidence for an etymological relation between the name Jork and the English city of York? The Anglo-Saxons may have come from around this area, and of course York is pronounced the same way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.197.227.113 (talk) 04:29, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why does both "Konigreich" and "Königreich" redirect here? Is there some sort of cultural etymology with the historical nomenclature of Jork? 96.59.155.167 (talk) 21:54, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
