@Kozman99 and Claude J: You worte: and remained there for the rest of his career[1], but he changed from BoKu to TU Wien, for cites please check the weblinks I added.  — Johannes Kalliauer - talk | contributions 11:50, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Most English speakers won't know what TH Wien is. Is TH Wien another name for TU Wien? Also, some sentences in the article seem to be written in German, but of course this is the English language Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kozman99 (talkcontribs) 04:08, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

TH Wien is not really aontoher name of TU Wien it was its name before renaming.
  • TH Wien stands for "Technische Hochschule Wien" (wordly translated: technical highschool Vienna, meaningfull translation: technical university Vienna)
  • TU Wien stands for "Technische Universität Wien" (translated: technical university Vienna)
"Hochschulen"(wordly: Highschools) are schools after school leaving examination, and "Universitäten"(wordly: Universities) a kind of those.

@Kozman99: I can't find a single German sentences, please precise which part you mean.  — Johannes Kalliauer - contrib. 08:51, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Its this sentence. Wasserbau III - Anlagen des städt. Tiefbaus und ldw. Wasserbau“ (VO+UE), „Enzyklop. der Ing.wissenschaften für Architektur“ and „Enzyklop. der Ing.wissensch. für Vermessungswesen“ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kozman99 (talkcontribs) 17:51, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And also this sentence "Verkehrswasserbau, städt. Tiefbau und ldw. Wasserbau“. Maybe these are references rather than sentences in the text. Also, can we put the full name of TH Wien in the text, and maybe put TH Wien in parenthesis? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kozman99 (talkcontribs) 17:56, 22 October 2017 (UTC) Actually, looks like the TH Wien is already taken care of , so thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kozman99 (talkcontribs) 18:01, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Kozman99: I would not translate proper names, therefore everything is ok. The proper names are in Quotes, because they are proper names. I also wouldn't translate Kozman99 to German.  — Johannes Kalliauer - contrib. 06:55, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
