This article doesn’t make sense. How could two of his works be "lost during the burning of the Talmud in Padua in 1414" if he wasn’t born until 1494? Mccapra (talk) 06:26, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In addition current refs 5 and 6 refer to individuals of the same name, but they don’t seem to be the same person. Mccapra (talk) 08:45, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Ibn Daud: who may have some useful advice.Mccapra (talk) 08:46, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mccapra: The author of the sefaria.org page about Joseph Ibn Yayha, confused Joseph ibn Yahya ben Solomon and Joseph ibn Yayha ben David to be the same person. As for the "burning of the Talmud in Padua in 1414", the Jewish Encyclopedia only states that his works were "destroyed in a conflagration". Ibn Daud (talk) 15:04, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great thank you! Mccapra (talk) 16:11, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
