"The results of the Faculty Senate evaluation surveys on President Judith I. Bailey and Provost Linda Delene show that out of the 516 faculty respondents, most do not have confidence in the top Western Michigan University administrators.

The Faculty Senate sent out 969 surveys and received 516 responses, or 53 percent, for President Bailey. For Provost Delene, it received 508 responses, or 52 percent of faculty participating.

One of the survey questions asked if participants have confidence in President Bailey’s ability to lead the university. Three hundred and twenty-nine respondents, or 64.3 percent, strongly disagreed with the statement, 19.1 percent disagreed somewhat, 10.7 percent remained neutral, 3.9 percent agreed somewhat and 2 percent strongly agreed with the statement." I attended NMU, where Mrs. Bailey nearly ruined the university for the beauty it was. Must say most were not sad to see her leave. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.247.87.37 (talkcontribs) 22:53, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

There is no reason to have this merged with WMU. She is a single indivudual who is recognized for her leadership at both WMU and NMU. --TheKuLeR 02:39, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Leadership"? Absolute Bull. In fact, when my law prof asked her what kind of leader she saw herself as, she said (and I quote), "I really don't see myself as a leader..." WONDERFUL. JUST DANDY.24.176.26.37 18:19, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's no doubt I agree with you, and I am glad she is gone. However you can't let the opinions and bias seep in. She is/was the President of WMU no matter who liked it or not.

GoWMU[edit]

GoWMU streamlined operations? Yeah right! Everybody hates the GoWMU system. They are revamping it as we speak, becuase you have to go through 6 pages before you can see your schedule! It has not streamlined anything. --Atticus2020 20:25, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
