Want the sassy Judge Judy back[edit]

I wonder if Judge Judy is holding back because her granddaughter is there. I’ve watched every episode of the original show. I hope we wan look forward to more of the daddy Judge Judy on the new show. 2601:C7:C200:7590:0:0:0:94C7 (talk) 17:40, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Perhaps she's just evolved. In episode 68 (the last one I've watched, at this writing), the plaintiff, a rapper, wouldn't stop running his sassy jabber long enough to let Judge Judy get a word in. When he said to Judge Judy, "Look baby girl, it's obvious you aren't very intelligent." She dismissed his case without prejudice, and suggested he take it back to small claims court. She then explained to Sara that she did that because she knew if his behavior was 1/10 that bad in front of a small claims judge, he'd do some time in jail for contempt! She wanted that to be his fate! Sara replied, "We'll have to look into that". (Meaning, investigate if there was a way Judge Judy could charge a litigant with contempt!) Haha! Filming Locations for Judy Justice[edit]

I freeze framed a frame in the opening sequence of the court building shown in the sequence. I recognize the courthouse as the Superior Court of California, in and for the County of San Diego. Should the Film Locations paragraph be edited to indicate this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samsonthesailorman (talkcontribs) 06:45, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Writing quality of this article[edit]

@2601:19e:4180:6d50::cc3a: Thanks for flagging this article for its unencyclopedic writing and original research. I've gone through and tried to tidy it up, cut down on the fluff, and correct some outright misleading statements. I encourage other editors to look at this, too. The article is bloated in places and seems to have a lot of WP:CRUFT. I'm going to keep chipping away at it over the next few days and see if I can improve it further. — Czello 15:28, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
