Clean up fan-ish wording[edit]

  • Aside from acting, Montes is also a renowned culinary chef. In June 2015, Montes, despite her busy schedule, completed a rigorous and challenging culinary course at the famed Center for Culinary Arts, Manila along with her fellow actress Yam Concepcion.

  • In alignment with Montes' new series Doble Kara, she was officially and cordially crowned by ABS-CBN as the "Royal Prinsesa ng Drama" (Royal Drama Princess) after showcasing her in-depth skill in acting, and for portraying various drama-filled roles in her known long resumed teleseryes such as Mara Clara, Walang Hanggan, Muling Buksan Ang Puso, and Ikaw Lamang.
  • The series showcased Montes' acting prowess, being the youngest among its cast and crew.
  • This drama series became famous and a huge hit, maintaining the top spot and dominating the viewers' ratings for most of its run, being the only Philippine drama of 2012 to exceed the 40% margin in ratings.
  • The huge success of the series served as a stepping stone for Montes, igniting and boosting her career, giving her more opportunities to star in much more ambitious projects. It even earned Montes the title of "Phenomenal Primetime Princess;" eventually she was named as the "Princess of Philippine Television" during the 44th Box Office Entertainment Awards (GMMSFI).
  • In 2012, Montes further gained prominence when she starred with Coco Martin in the multi-acclaimed award-winning phenomenal drama series Walang Hanggan ("My Eternal"), a show that catapulted her already successful career.
  • In 2010, Montes' biggest breakthrough role came when she tapped the role of Clara del Valle/David in the hit remake of the longest-running classic soap opera about teenage sibling rivalry, Mara Clara, alongside her co-star and off-screen best friend Kathryn Bernardo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.210.32.86 (talk) 17:29, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography tables[edit]

The filmography tables shouldn't be coloured in because they make it harder to read and IMHO makes the table bloody awful, The otherr changes I'm not bothered about - just the film tables, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 04:50, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article has too much detail and needs to be reviewed for grammar, weasel words, puffery and neutrality. Clearly, main contributor User:Freyjadour is a fan. 112.202.97.141 (talk) 18:57, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article probably could benefit from some corrections to tone, moving further towards neutral encyclopedic summary and away from the rather gushing, verbose and quasi-promotional character the prose has just now. But you'll probably get a lot better response to your use of our community processes if you more properly research them before utilizing them. WP:RfCs are generally meant to present a specific, concrete issue, ideally with specific courses of action to consider. It's also expected that the party opening the discussion will present each side's stance neutrally, presenting the arguments for different approaches and requesting insight on these options. Instead, you've hosted an RfC to make a broad proclamation about the poor quality of the article and to blame another editor for it.
I'm not sure what you expected the result of such a non-constructive approach to be, but the actual result is unlikely to be what you were hoping for until you correct the way you approach the conflict. I took a moment to review the article's content and edit history in order to see what is going on here, and I'm somewhat sympathetic to your view, especially in light of the fact that Freyjadour is reverting even your tags, amongst a large number of reversions of contributions from most of the other few editors here. But with such an antagonistically-phrased opening to this inquiry, some respondents may not take the time to look that far before dismissing your concerns. Even if they do, it seems there's been a fair bit of edit warring to go around here--enough so that the article was page protected last week, only for the edit warring to resume immediately after the expiration. It's good that you are now seeking out third opinions, but your argument will go down a lot smoother if you stay away from the blame game and actually request comment rather than stating your own conclusions like a declaration of what must be done.
