Lead and infobox

For the first sentence, I would include the year in which the album was released after the title in parenthesis. I would also include the year in which Like a Prayer was released.
Do you think that the song’s appearance on the Dance Singles Sales chart should be included in the lead?

Background and release

I am a little confused by this part (Donna de Lory worked as the background vocalist). I assuming that “a background vocalist” would be better as using “the” makes it sound like de Lory was Madonna’s only background vocalist for a time. Is that the case?
According to de Lory’s main Wikipedia page, she also worked with Madonna for the Confessions Tour and the Live Earth concert. Do you think that these should be added here as well with a source?
Please include the yearh in which Like a Prayer was released.
For this part (As explained in Lucy O'Brien's Madonna: Like an Icon,), I would make it clear in the prose that this is a biography.
Do you thik that you should include information about the remixes (from the Track list) in the final paragraph of this section?
Please include ALT text for the image.

Reception

The verb “relegated” can be interpreted as somewhat negative and the associated quote (i.e. "valiant bid for top 40 radio acceptance”) seems positive.
For this part (which would be be suitable choice for both mainstream and crossover radios), I do not think that “both” is needed.
You say in the lead that the album received a mixed response. Do you think that there should be a topic sentence for the first paragraph to reflect this in the body of the article?
