Justin Trudeau named after Just Society?[edit]

It might be good to see if there is any merit (citations) to the idea Justin Trudeau was named for/after "Just Society". This article does not currently mention Justin Trudeau, and Justin Trudeau does not mention this article. --SportWagon (talk) 16:52, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

interesting topic, terrible article[edit]

Debates on a just society go back to Socrates and Aristotle and engage the entire scope of political philosophy. It goes a bit beyond Trudeau somehow.--Tai tapu (talk) 05:21, 27 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lede[edit]

"A Just society is one in which each person is socially and economically secure, and where the state is politically, legally, and administratively inclusive and fair"

This is not what the sources say. The fact is that different writers use the term for different meanings. Mill explicitly frames it as a question and the "common good" is a far cry from "everyone has enough". DenverCoder9 (talk) 02:00, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
