Naming[edit]

Note that the Dictionary of Canadian Biography uses two inconsistent spellings of the subject's name in their article: Kā-kīwistāhāw and KÙ-kīwistāhāw. I'm not sure which, if either, is more correct. They also use a '§' in some instances where the name is all caps, but I suspect that this is a problem with their software rather than an acceptable spelling.
