Lead/infobox[edit]

  • Since the northern and southern terminus were both at US-59 in Erie, could that sentence be shortened to say something similar to that?
  • Link auto trail in lead
  • "...as well as K-108 which would connect Erie to the new alignment." → comma after "K-108"
  • The map in the infobox is not loading for me but if it's displaying for you I'll AGF, probably an issue on my end

Route description[edit]

  • "they determined that on average the traffic varied" → commas before and after "on average"
  • "The National Highway System is a system of highways important to the nation's defense, economy, and mobility." → This sentence seems very out of place; I'd recommend either incorporating it as a part of the previous sentence, moving it to a footnote (a la K-87), or removing it entirely.

History[edit]

  • "A portion of K-108 followed the former King of Trails." → is "King of Trails" the actual name of the trail or a nickname? This is unclear and should probably be noted either way.
  • "It was not until early December 1957, that the Kansas State Highway Commission..." → remove comma, add bolded word
  • In the third paragraph, you can use the abbreviation "KDOT" instead of the full-form "Kansas Department of Transportation" since the abbreviation and full name (with link) is given two paragraphs earlier

  • Ref No. 15 gives me a 404 error (if you find an archive, then remove "KDOT" from the article name since it's given as the publisher already).
  • In Refs No. 1 and 2, the "author" field can be removed since the given authors are the same gov't organizations given in the "publisher" field.
  • Other spot checks look good.
