Untitled[edit]

I have re-created this page today after pursuing the matter with Wiki editor Ryan Postlethwaite. Ryan helped me to create a page in line with Wikipedia's guidelines, so I hope this is acceptable. If there is any further work that needs to be done, please let me know. :) Thanks!

BBB.[edit]

Please note the Better Business Bureau's report and grade for k2 Networks, and that it's been raised from an "F" to a "B".75.68.58.67 (talk) 19:06, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Funny link[edit]

Why is the link for Red Stone directed towards Full Metal Alchemist, a page where the words are not even mentioned at all? I would fix it but I'd be afraid in case I broke teh intornetz. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.168.93.8 (talk) 18:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Needs an update badly[edit]

K2 is now known as Gamersfirst. They lost their license to host Redstone (circumstances unclear, needs verification but I can't find a source out there) and it is now hosted by another company. They have re-named Sword of the New World to Sword 2 and are re-launching it as a "sequel". I think the company's history should be mentioned, as there was a period in time when it had an "F" rating with the BBB. This company now has an "A+" rating, although the customer rating is still listed as one star out of five based on 30 reviews. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.247.54 (talk) 05:27, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stopping updates to K2 Network, and proposing going forward as Reloaded Games[edit]

This page is starting to be confusing. The prior company K2 Network is no longer active, though it was an important contributor to the field of freemium games back in the day (as far back as 2004). The new company (Reloaded Games) is continuing to operate and do new things. Proposing we create a proper Reloaded Games page to collect all the activities of that company for APB Reloaded, Hawken and Fallen Earth. None which have ever seemed to appear using the K2 Network name. Not sure which editor will be needed to "ok" a new company information page with the active company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bb-miler (talkcontribs) 00:28, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Needs potentially edit protection to autoconfirmed users?[edit]

There is now a revert-war on this page (albeit a slow one) that's been going on for over a year. Someone in New Delhi who is IP hopping on a mobile network is continually re-posting a badly written unencyclopedic reference to K2 Network Private Ltd. the apparent Indian BPO service now defunct, which had performed customer service work for K2 Network (the US based company). In that separate Indian company (per the article) there were apparent allegations of inappropriate behavior by a manager, the allegations were picked up for an article in a local Indian publication dealing with BPO services, where the manager denied the allegations. There are no apparent follow ups. None of this is encyclopedic.

There have been occasional edit interventions (like User:John_Reaves who reverted one of the earlier changes), but to stop the ongoing silliness, I suggest setting edit-protction to autoconfirmed at minimum, so we can at least stop the anonymous IP-only revert war. Then at minimum if someone has substantial edits to make to the page, those can be added appropriately by a named contributor.

Any thoughts about setting edit-protection to "autoconfirmed"? Bb-miler (talk) 18:02, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
