Yes, this article needs work[edit]

@BatteryIncluded: I had the same thought: move the facts to this article. AFAICT, KARST was only an SKA proposal, and was rejected primarily because China is the only place with suitable geography (a arge area dense with karst depressions) and the SKA wanted the southern hemisphere so they could see the galactic centre. And has been a dead letter for the last ten years.

The only reason I haven't is that I haven't gotten around to digging up sources for all of that. No disagreement on the goal. 71.41.210.146 (talk) 07:18, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
