Does anyone have a legal logo for this company? I'd like to make a box for it. --Oakshade 06:04, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why "Satisfied Customers" but not the balancing complaint sites?[edit]

Why "Satisfied Customers" but not the balancing complaint sites? Seems like if one's up, the other should be as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.198.190.154 (talk) 13:21, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Requests[edit]

Hi, I work for KB Home and have a WP:Conflict of Interest so I wanted to know if someone else could approve and post these edits. Thank you!

Thank you so much! Ckane12345 (talk) 18:40, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ckane1234, happy to help. Couple notes/questions:
  • Do you have a source for the 630K homes built?
  • Infobox changes look good. I think an SEC submission is a good source but I'll double check
  • Sustainability report looks good. Not sure it should be capitalized.
  • No trademarks in Wiki, but looks good otherwise.
I'll look for that missing source too and work on other edits.
--FeldBum (talk) 22:02, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again Ckane1234.
Once you find that 630K source (or I find one), I'll mark this as complete.

Ckane12345 I think the pings above were to the wrong user. Do you have an update to the info above Ckane? Z1720 (talk) 23:48, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry about that. What a difference one digit makes. Pinging the correct Ckane12345.
Hello FeldBum, thanks for your edits. We have a few more to add:
Thank you so much! Ckane12345 (talk) 22:05, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ckane12345
I'll dive in a bit deeper, but at first glance these look OK.
Couple quick notes:
  • No trademarks, so I'll remove those
  • EPA isn't a good source for something the EPA did, but the other sources should work.
  • The KB Home Office, Energy Star and Projekt lines are a bit too promotional. I'll rewrite.
  • I just glanced at them, so maybe I need to read more closely, but I don't see anything about KB Home being "the only" home builder to win the award. Unless that's stated explicitly, I'll drop that line.
Lastly, these are new edits, so I'll either change the flag or make these a new request, since I closed your previous request. Going through the formal edit request method is best.

Hi Ckane12345
Gonna tackle these one-by-one
  • That’s a decently good source and not a press release. No sources with a byline? I’ll take a quick look. If I can’t find anything else, this will work.
  • Looks good. I may rewrite slightly. If the project was done with Builder magazine, I’m not sure I can use them as a source, but the Forbes source is good. I'll add some wiki links too.
  • Similarly, EPA won’t work as a source. The other sources should work, even though they only discuss the upcoming 2020 award. I don’t see anything about KB Home being the only home builder to win the award in those sources, so I’ll need to drop that line.
  • Looks fine
  • Sources look good. I’ll need to remove the trademark symbol. See WP:Trademarks
  • Looks fine
  • That source is just a press release, so it won’t work. Do you have another one?
--FeldBum (talk) 01:24, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ping Ckane12345
Finished everything but the 11,000 solar homes. Let me know if you find a source. Otherwise, marking as complete.
This history section is getting a bit long, so I'll break into eras, like Early history and 2008-2020. That seems to split in half.
--FeldBum (talk) 14:20, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again FeldBum, thanks for all your help.
However you want to break down the History section is OK with me. I'm not what would be best for Wikipedia.
I don't have a source for the 11,000 solar homes that isn't a press release, so let's leave that off.
On another note, can you add this picture (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jeffrey_T_Mezger_KB_Home_Jared_Allens_Homes_for_Wounded_Warriors.jpg) and an infobox to this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_T._Mezger). Do I need to make a new request for that? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_T._Mezger
Thank you again,
Ckane12345 (talk) 20:34, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Made those last changes on this page and on Jeffrey T. Mezger. Ping Ckane12345 --FeldBum (talk) 00:42, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much for all your help FeldBum.
One last quick edit: Can you add to the page? (You can make it smaller)
Thank you so much again,
Ckane12345 (talk) 13:33, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done Ckane12345. Made it (much) smaller and added the caption from Commons. (Also edited your comment to make it smaller so that the page doesn't overflow. Hope you don't mind me editing your comment.) Since this request is closed, if you have other requests, I'd recommend a new Edit Request entirely. --FeldBum (talk) 13:45, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

COI Edit Request[edit]

Hello, I previously requested some edits above and have a few more:

Remove "and was a Fortune 500 company", in the very first paragraph, this is inaccurate. Then the rest are for the 2008-2021 section.

1. "Earlier this year, the company confirmed plans to build homes in California, Nevada, and Arizona to the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense specifications." Source: https://www.ocregister.com/2022/07/20/builder-plans-to-install-epa-rated-water-saving-fixtures-in-every-southwestern-home-it-builds/

2. Also add "Newsweek recognized KB Home as one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for environmental and social responsibilities". Source: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/kb-home-named-one-america-213000498.html

3. Lastly, "KB Home also announced it had established the first all-electric solar and battery-powered microgrid community in California." https://electrek.co/2022/11/02/the-first-electric-solar-and-battery-microgrid-community-in-ca/

Thanks so much! Ckane12345 (talk) 21:10, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done hi @Ckane12345: i've added these with a few changes except for
