I see that KBVU has been redirected to KCVU with no discussion on the talk pages of either page. Besides having the same owner what reason is there for the redirect? I am planning on reverting that in 10 days unless there is a consensus that it should stay the way it is currently. --Sjrr124 (talk) 01:02, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to know where there is a citation to prove that Pray Northstate, which aired on KCVU, was forced off the air by the FCC. If there is no proof, it must be removed. NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 14:01, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What channels are they?[edit]

KCVU brands using its digital channel, 20, rather than its historic analog and current virtual channel, 30. KBVU brands using its digital channel, 28, rather than its historic analog and current virtual channel, 29. Does anyone know the point of this?

KVIQ, which shares owner Sainte Partners II, L.P, brands using its digital channel, 17, rather than its historic analog and current virtual channel, 6.

Unrelated WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia brands as digital channel 50, instead of its historic analog and current virtual channel, 4. Its article claims that 50 is its virtual channel, but the FCC database disagrees.

The article for WLIO in Lima, Ohio claims that its digital channel, 8, is also its virtual channel, instead of its historic analog channel, 35. The FCC database disagrees, saying its virtual channel is 35.

Do KCVU & KBVU make similar claims about their virtual channels? --Chaswmsday (talk) 15:11, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television Stations#Dubious virtual channels & odd branding. --Chaswmsday (talk) 15:51, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
