Shift Out and Shift In characters is right: the Cyrillic/Latin character flow is swiched by a control character. There are uppercase and lowercase letters but they are on the same positions in the codepage. Controvercy[edit]

The table shows both Latin and Cyrillic characters but the article says it cannot encode both. I think this is incorrect: 7 bits allows for 128 characters which can easily include both Latin and Cyrillic.--MathFacts (talk) 18:27, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
