Inaccurate history?[edit]

This station was never called KOOG-TV and never existed on channel 30. Per earlier discussion, it's the license that matters in a station's history, not its callsign, programming, channel number or owners. The current KUPX - KUPX 16 - is distinct from the former KUPX - KUPX 30 - even though Paxson Communications owned both and traded with Acme Communications, and even though the studios were moved from Provo to Ogden, and later to Salt Lake City. --dhett 07:06, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New KUPX article[edit]

I have completed a rewrite of the KUPX article, which describes the license history of the station as its official history, plus adds a paragraph about its intellectual unit history prior to the April 1998 swap. Since it represents an extensive rewrite of the History section, I have put the article temporarily on my workspace at User:Dhett/KUPX for the user community to examine before overwriting the current article. Comments are welcome; please leave them on the talk page before November 1st. dhett 03:51, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
