Requested move 1 March 2020[edit]

The result of the move request was: no consensus. Focusing on policy-based arguments, and noting that consensus does not depend on a head count, there seems to be no clear agreement as to the most commonly used name in English-language sources. Support per WP:COMMONNAME. As well as being used on the English.language version of the official website (here), it appears to be the most common name in English-language guides to Helsinki, and so on. Oppose: kaapelitehdas helsinki gives me 327,000 google hits and "cable factory" helsinki gives 47,000 so on my reading of the WP:COMMONNAME criteria, Kaapelitehdas is a better fit in terms of conciseness, precision, recognisability and naturalness. Qua consistency, i don't know what's best. The TEH link hedges its bets and calls it Kaapelitehdas / Cable factory (and this page needs more links). Mujinga (talk) 19:03, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

But with that search (I got "about 376,000" for kaapelitehdas helsinki), a lot of them are in Finnish. I searched for kaapelitehdas helsinki english and got "about 172,000" results, but even then three of the top ten were in Finnish.
