--Ka'ohi (talk) 23:04, 1 September 2015 (UTC)== Merge into taro? == Should this article be merged with taro? "Kalo" is not a unique substance, it's merely the Hawaiian word for the taro plant. This seems like a violation of Wikipedia's WP:EN policy, which states that English names, when available, should be used for article titles. Also, a section in the taro article already contains a section on Hawaii with some details on the plant's centrality to and use by native Hawaiian culture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2CE7:2040:F8EA:51CC:D503:4DB3 (talk) 17:02, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I should think that the policy of the English artical title conversions are in fact the reason why the word Kalo should be used instead of the English conversion to Taro. Pretty simple actually. --Ka'ohi (talk) 23:04, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
