Attempting to add the {{Template:Coor d}} template to link the coordinates. Need help, when I tried, it showed up off the coast of Nigeria. WilsonjrWikipedia (talk) 21:49, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Let's test it here: {{Coor|1_38_S_41_35_E|Ras Kamboni (1º 38’ S, 41º 35’ E)}}

Works!--Petercorless 00:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Allegations?[edit]

Those allegations cannot be considered true, and I believe it is against the purpose of wikipedia to help a potentially propagandist movement. -- 70.112.224.86 00:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What allegations, specifically? --Petercorless 00:55, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

al-Itihaad al-Islamiya defined as terrorist organization[edit]

al-Itihaad al-Islamiya was defined by the US as a terrorist organization under Executive Order 13224, and had been referred to as such since. --Petercorless 09:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, it took part in attacks against civilian Ethiopian populations in 1995 and 1996, bombing (especially hotels) in Addis Abeba, Dire Dawa, and Jijiga, as well as a few other places, I believe. Source1, Source2. — ዮም | (Yom) | TalkcontribsEthiopia 07:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name of this article should be changed[edit]

The name of the village described in this article is not Ras Kamboni, it is Kamboni. Ras Kamboni is the name of the cape: the tip of the small peninsula on which the village lies. All capes in Somalia start with Ras .... So, all the language versions of this article got it wrong, only the German version is correct. And the Dutch version (Kamboni), that for some reason isn't even added to the language list. Can someone correct all this? I don't know how to do this....
