Metrics

This page is redundant?

Why does this topic exist at all when there is a primary page on Kanban (i.e. not "Kanban (Development)". And why is "Dave Anderson" being given a significant credit here? On the contrary, Kanban originally was a method of tracking product manufacturing. It has been adapted to software development as an iterative, agile development methodology. It needs its own page but this article may need more clarification in its (missing) lead section so that this metamorphosis is clear.

Prior to Kanban as a method of tracking product manufacturing, a kanban process for software was developed at Corbis by another individual. The Kanban Method is a particular method of applying Kanban in a software development organization.
