The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

On 17 October 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Karbala Sports City to Karbala International Stadium. The result of the discussion was moved.

Karbala Sports City → Karbala International Stadium – This article is specifically about the stadium, which is named Karbala International Stadium as per StadiumDB (referenced in the article) and other English sources (this is also the translation of the stadium's official Arabic name). Karbala Sports City is the name of the full complex which includes a secondary stadium and other facilities, but the subject of this article is only Karbala International Stadium and hence this would be the appropriate name for the article.
