Red Karen language → Karenni language – Per WP:COMMONNAME. "Red Karen" is an archaic exonym and no longer widely used by scholarly sources; Karenni people was moved for this reason. "Kayah" language is an option, but I would not vouch for that option given that the background of its coinage is extremely political. "Kayah" is the Burmese transliteration of the people / language and an exonym opposed by numerous Karenni organisations. Compare results on Google Scholar: Karenni language, Red Karen language, and Kayah language. - I agree, Karenni remains more frequently used in English souces. I will note though that the name 'Karenni' is merely an anglicisation of the Burmese word 'Kayinni' (lit. 'Red Karen') that was adopted by the British, much like 'Karen,' while 'Kayah' is a native Karenni word. More details here. --Hintha(t) 23:23, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
