Untitled[edit]

Please, I am new to Wikipedia and I am not sure how to reach the admin. I tried to edit an article earlier: the art. on Katerina Kolozova is written by me, in a word format and I have the file to prove it. Please, edit the info stating "autobiography". I am the author, her student, doing doctoral research on one of her books (Riste Aleksovski (talk) 18:39, 21 October 2017 (UTC))[reply]

@Riste Aleksovski: If you are her student, then you have a conflict of interest. It is a bad idea to write an article about your instructor, mentor, colleague, family member, coworker, etc., because it's hard to maintain neutral point of view when you're so close to the subject. —C.Fred (talk) 18:47, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

North Macedonian of Bulgarian origin[edit]

Hello everybody. Can somebody explain what is the motivation behind this lame edit-war she was a North Macedonian of Bulgarian origin. North Macedonian is not correct per WP:MOSMAC and the Prespa agreement. Moreover there is not a single evidence she was from Bulgarian origin. Please stop. Thanks. Language, identity, and culture[edit]

The Macedonian language, the Macedonians as an ethnic group, and the Macedonian culture continue to be referred to as such (e.g. Macedonian folk song, Macedonian film, etc.). This is in line with both the Prespa agreement and the large majority of reliable sources.

Nationality[edit]

The nationality of citizens of North Macedonia should still be referred to as "Macedonian." In particular, the term "Macedonian" is used for the routine description of people's nationality in the lead sentences of biographical articles (XYZ is a Macedonian football player...). This, too, is in line with the majority of reliable sources (while according to the Prespa agreement, in official documents this nationality will be described by the double formula "Macedonian/citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia").

In contexts where ambiguity with Macedonian ethnicity might be an issue, more explicit forms or explanatory text may be used (e.g. XYZ possesses both Australian and North Macedonian citizenship, or ethnic Macedonians who are not citizens of North Macedonia).
