There's some confusion about Spilde's academic title, since (as of Nov 2019) the narrative text on her faculty profile and her CV on her homepage still list associate professor. She was promoted to full professor in 2018.[1] I'll remark also that there's an article about the first person to hold her chair on the same SDSU news site.[2]
I argue against including the first source on the main article page, as the listing on the department page (including what is under her picture on her profile page) is authoritative and sufficient. Oversourcing her promotion might tend to make it look controversial, which it doesn't look to have been. The other source could be interesting to include, but I didn't see a natural place for it.
