Article on Katyayanidas Bhattacharya[edit]

1) The language has been restructured. Does it still reads like an Obituary. Please give your views. 2) Many Citations and references have subsequently been included. Is that all right now? Gautam Bhattacharya (talk) 05:29, 19 January 2016 (UTC)Gautam Bhattacharya[reply]

COI: non-neutral point of view[edit]

The article reads like something written to praise and memorialize him. The bulk of any article should come from independent sources, but the cited sources appear to be mainly his own writings, rather than critical commentary by others about his work. Lengthy stretches of biographical detail cite no sources, suggesting that the information comes from the personal knowledge of a friend, relative, or acquaintance rather than from a published source. Statements like "received wide acclaim in those days" and "the few that have survived stand testimony to his erudition" are made in Wikipedia's voice without attribution or basis. --Worldbruce (talk) 01:41, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
