Transcription of the company name[edit]

Company website http://www.kmg.kz/ gives official name in English as KazMunayGas. We have to use the version, which is used by the company itself. Therefore I will move page back.Beagel 16:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Data[edit]

Image:KazMunayGas logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Merge proposal[edit]

Although KazMunayGas and KazMunayGas Exploration Production (AO) are legally separate entities, KMG EP is the main subsidiary of KazMunayGas, and notwithstanding its stings, it is controlled by KazMunayGas. Merging these articles would provide more comprehensive overview of this group of company. Both articles are also quite short. Beagel (talk) 17:08, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

KazMunayGas has several other subsidiaries; also, while it is the main shareholder in KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, the latter is also has other shareholders (LSE:KMG). I therefore oppose the move as the argument stands (but could be swayed).Klbrain (talk) 20:33, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
