Kazuro or Kazuo?[edit]

What's the correct name, Kazuo Watanabe or Kazuro Watanabe? --Bonás 13:11, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's Kazuo.

He also uses the name "Kazuo" in the profile published by the organization he chairs. There has been some confusion about this on the Wikipedia(ja) for some time, but the source has recently been added.

The name "Kazuro" is thought to be a misreading of the kanji (because it can be read that way). It was Seiji Ueda and Hiroshi Kaneda who gave the name Watanabe to the asteroid, not the person himself.--KAMUI (talk) 21:05, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
