Article length[edit]

Bah, this article is too sparse for Keith. It must be expanded. I've added a bit for now, but in the next few days I'm going to try and expand it enough to bring it out of 'stub' status. I've also contacted Brad McQuaid of Sigil Games to see if I can get a link to his eulogy that he wrote...they were very close friends, and the eulogy had a lot of history on Keith, especially his work on the Everquest artwork. -Yeorin --Yeorin 14:53, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of content[edit]

76.176.217.84 and 64.37.186.71 have each deleted a section of content from this article. The former stated, in the edit history, "Keeping this garbage off Keith's page"; the latter, "DELETED - Don't sully up Parkinson's page with this retarded drama". As WP:IDONTLIKEIT is not a substitute for a rationale, I would appreciate it if the editor or editors would explain. I have reinstated the content, pending a response. My apologies if my edit messages before were a bit short, I honestly didn't expect anyone to care enough to edit it back in. My issue with displaying the plagiarism section on Parkinson's article is because in the grand scheme of things, it was completely irrelevant to him. I knew Parkinson while he was alive, and not only was he completely unaware of that particular happening, but had he been he would have blown it off and I very highly doubt would have even wanted to acknowledge it publicly like that. So my reasoning is not that I'm trying to protect the people who stole his work -- not by a long shot -- I simply think Parkinson was above even mentioning it, since it was such an insignificant event when measured against the rest of his career. Its own section on his page attributes it a much higher level of importance than it really had and only gives the perpetrator legitimacy.
I hope that helps explain it. Thanks! Gnomebomb (talk) 04:44, 23 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whatever404 (talkcontribs) [reply]

Gravestone art[edit]

I think it might be notable that Keith Parkinson's gravestone has one of his paintings on it.

Here is what Donna Parkinson said on the official Keith Parkinson Facebook page: "Interesting Fact: This painting (Chernevog) was used on the headstone at the cemetery where Keith is. Lots of people put photos of their loved ones on their headstones, but I know that Keith would not have wanted that, so I decided to put this piece on there. The lady called to tell me she was very sorry but that it was a copyrighted piece and they could not use it .. then I told her who he was, etc. She was stunned .... :)" Big Mac (talk) 09:42, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
