Gary W. Keller and Joe Williams co-founded Keller Williams Realty in 1983.[1][2] Keller Williams Realty was built on an operating model that relied on economies of scale and a cultural model that relied on the principles of profit sharing, interdependence, and success through the efforts of others.[3] The company began franchising in 1991 and expanded to Canada in 1998, with sales and commissions growth topping 700 percent since 1995.[4] Keller Williams has leveraged this business model since the 1980s to grow from a single office in Austin to become the second-largest real estate company in the United States and Canada, with over 79,000 agents.[5][6] Keller believes the company will pass Coldwell Banker and become number one by the end of 2012.[7]

Despite the sharp downturn in the real estate market, since 2005, Keller Williams Realty has seen substantial growth in number of agents, market centers, closed units and closed gross commission income.[8] In 2009, Keller Williams market centers generated combined profit of $80.1 million, in a year when almost every major franchise lost money.[9] From 2008 to 2009, agent count increased from 74,200 to 76,700, even as the overall market declined. Based on the file names, I am guessing on captions. I believe "FR" would stand for "family reunion?" If not, please let me know and I will change the caption. Is wikipedia paid to advertise and to omit controversy?[edit]

Two commentators have already correctly noted that this article sounds like a press release, and another commentator admits to being from Keller Williams. On the other hand there is NO mention that this company has been all over the news lately for its outstandingly shabby treatment of vulnerable tenants in Hamilton who are undergoing a renoviction and who have, among other things, been left without water for weeks. Then this company was happy to let the city pick up the slack. And all while hiding behind the corporate veil as "1083 Main St E,Inc" which turns out to be a cover for Elevation Realty Network, which in turn turns out to be a cover for Kellwer Williams. I think you are referring to the Wikimedia Foundation, not the "Wikipedia foundation." Wikipedia is not the place to WP:RGW. If you feel wording needs to be included please propose such.
