Conflicting year of birth[edit]

Sources conflict in Weafer's year of birth. Baseball-reference.com and retrosheet.org indicate 1913 while mlb.com indicates 1914. The article currently uses 1913. Although Find-A-Grave is not considered a reliable source, it lists 1914 while showing a picture of his government-issued veteran grave marker with 1913. (I'll trust the government in this case.)
