Made up[edit]

Wasn't this name made up in about 1950? It is just a couple of syllables brought together to make what sounds like a name.Perhaps a father called Kenny + a mother called Sandra decided Ken[ny + San]dra = Kendra. All the derivation stuff is nonsense, isn't it? I'd like to see some citations for early use. Tsinfandel (talk) 15:56, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

origin[edit]

This name, just like all others, need a historical origin description not just a pop culture usage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.148.144.41 (talk) 14:44, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

False information?[edit]

What is the sentence "The name was never popular in the United States, but the first person to ever have this name was a kid who lived in Germany 1987." actually supposed to mean? Clearly it cannot mean that this so-called kid was born in 1985. The linked site at reference 3 shows US entries of this name in the 50s. Also there is a link to the page of Kendra Wilkinson who was born in 1985. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Muraenen (talkcontribs) 15:28, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
