Separate article for historic hitting streak[edit]

Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak has a separate article on it, so should we also make one for Marte's record post-season hitting streak? I'd argue that due to it being widely covered by the media, MLB itself and how it'll almost certainly be enshrined in Cooperstown, it warrants its own article. That sounds like WP:RECENTISM to me. DiMaggio's streak is WP:LASTING, there's no indication this will be on par with that. Marte's breaking the postseason record isn't even added to prose in this article yet (I will do it right after this post) and only needs one additional sentence so there's no need to WP:SPLIT. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:53, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
