edited out the BLURGH from his "oh god" quote as he did not say that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.49.145.219 (talk) 07:36, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Yet another wikipedia page for someone who only did 1 thing at 1 specific time and absolutely nothing else worth noting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.185.42.55 (talk) 20:03, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The subject appears to qualify for an article under WP:NOTE.
Also, new discussions go at the bottom, not the top, and please remember to sign your talk page posts. You can do this by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of them, which will automatically time stamp them too. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 22:41, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article itself is fine. I would suggest a new photo at some point, if at all possible. I believe the photo of him is from his wedding day, taken many years prior to September 11, 2001 (the events of which day he is most well known). He looked much older by 2001. Ostaru or Ostrau?[edit]

There's some scattered evidence on the Internet that Cosgrove misspelled the name Ostrau by interchanging two letters. Admittedly a pretty minor point, and it's hard to find a source that can be cited for this article. Ishboyfay (talk) 00:06, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

should have read this first. i just made a change. i'm going off of this: http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1144532/pg1?disclaimer=1 and the fact that there's articles on a guy named Jon Ostrau in the finance/insurance industry. Probably not that reliable though so feel free to change if you want? -KaJunl (talk) 20:12, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move this. This man was so much more than a tiny piece of the trial of Moussaoui. As a victim of a terrible tragedy and one whose horrifying last moments of life serve to remind us of what happened that day, he deserves to be remembered alone, not just a piece of evidence at a trial. Mohammed Atta has a huge page and no indication that he should be placed under the heading of anything else, yet he was the head hijacker. Certainly it is not right to give so much attention to the bad guys of this story and then shove the victims under other topics.
