Khawlan (tribe) → Khawlan – Moving this article from Khawlan (tribe) to Khawlan is needed since all pages that have links in them to Khawlan always intend to mention the tribe, not the sub-district with the same name. Mkfreal (talk) 21:53, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I actually suggest the merger of both articles as the district is named from the tribe itself. Same thing with Yafa'a Abo Yemen ✉ 03:28, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would go with this idea, however, the sub-district is not in the geographical area Khawlan to begin with, it just had its name derived from it, hence making this insensible, also the nature of it being a cross-governorate tribe makes this idea not reliable. In your example, The Yafa'a tribe is located in the district, hence why it made sense in that case. You could also see Kahlan and Kahlan (Ibb). Mkfreal (talk) 03:54, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
