Cannot add Kickstarter.com citations[edit]

When I tried to cite Kickstarter.com projects it said that the kickstarter.com site is blocked, so I cannot save any changes. What? TheQuietLon3r (talk) 09:42, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like it's blocked because Wikipedia was being used too frequently as a way to advertise Kickstarters - see WP:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 301#RfC:_Crowdfunders. On top of that reason, Kickstarter itself is generally not a good source - it's a primary source, meaning that it isn't an acceptable source for anything that involves analysis.
However, for something simple and direct like this though, it should be acceptable. My understanding is that you should get a list of all of the URLs that you'd like to cite and make a request at MediaWiki_talk:Spam-whitelist.

Drip redirects here, not mentioned; acquisitions[edit]

Drip (website) redirect=no redirects here, and unusually enough even has a number of sources. Is not even mentioned here, but was apparently the first acquisition, so notable addition. Also, no other acquistions are mentioned. Ponken (talk) 11:17, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
