Untitled[edit]

http://asiacross.jp/en/model/mizuhara.html says

Date of birth : 1990.10.15

Birth place : Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

Can someone sort this out?--— Preceding unsigned comment added by Hhgygy (talkcontribs) 2011-04-23T21:20:36‎

Link is dead now. My guess is that you're concerned about the stated birth place not being in the US. I think it's a typical mistranslation of 出身地, which is a word meaning "place of birth OR place where one grew up in." This is frequently misunderstood in Japanese bio articles. She herself states that she was born in the US in her YouTube apology video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AGsDlGUjjQ --Makkachin (talk) 00:36, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality[edit]

Is there any evidence of South Korean nationality? Yes, she's ethnically Korean - Zainichi Korean would imply more Japanese nationality or permanent residency (if not solely American citizenship) since she hasn't been born or raised in Korea. Evaders99 (talk) 06:24, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
