NPOV[edit]

"Killing of Jayland Walker" "Type Homicide by shooting, police killing" The language is clearly inflammatory, in depicting the death of this man, a classic case of "suicide-by-cop," as a police murder of a black man. Whoever wrote "homicide," is clearly seeking, like the media, to confuse readers into thinking "murder." "Homicide" simply means that one person killed another person, whether justifiably or no. The title should be changed to The Death of Jayland Walker. 2603:7000:B23E:33EE:AC6C:23D7:841B:C6F0 (talk) 22:15, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@FormalDude: I fail to see what false information I added to the entry. Here's how the paragraph in question now stands--it's extremely confusing.
"Walker was not carrying a weapon when killed. A handgun was later found in Walker's car, and officers reported a firearm being discharged during the preceding car chase. Police said a bullet casing consistent with the recovered handgun was found in the area where they say a shot was fired." 2603:7000:B23E:33EE:D10A:9709:DA95:4C78 (talk) 05:32, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To add to article[edit]

Basic information to add to this article (in order to help make it properly encyclopedic): was the pistol recovered from Walker's car legally purchased, and did Walker have a permit to carry it? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 02:14, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
