Assumed a Colonel in the Canadian Forces would warrant a mention under notable people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.193.159.240 (talk) 00:33, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Common Name[edit]

I noticed that the elected folks from Kings refer to it exclusively as the "County of Kings" and not "Kings County". It makes it sound like the residents of teh county are all Kings themselves!  :) The name on the website and the crest is "County of Kings". Do people call it County of Kings, is that the name that meets WP:COMMONNAME? WayeMason (talk) 13:09, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kings County is the wider geographic boundary that includes the Towns of Wolfville, Kentville, and Berwick. The folks at the County of Kings use that terminology to differentiate the Municipality of the County of Kings (the single municipality) from Kings County (the collection of four municipalities). This article really should be updated as it treats Kings County like it's a single municipal entity (e.g. Mayor Peter Muttart). 142.134.59.202 (talk) 17:57, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Kings County, Nova Scotia[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kings County, Nova Scotia's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:40, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
