Name[edit]

It looks as if KiwiRail has dropped the "Tranz Scenic" brand - the new website calls the services "KiwiRail Scenic Journeys" so I've amended the article to reflect this. The Tranz Scenic brand / livery has also been replaced with the AK class carriages. --LJ Holden 00:44, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Deletion?[edit]

This page should be deleted and redirect to The Great Journeys of New Zealand. The content is basically the same; there's no need to have an article just to say this was the former name. Mirza Ahmed (talk) 19:39, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion is inappropriate because this article contains a lot of content that is not in the article on the newer brand - rather, it needs a merge. I tagged it accordingly. The Drover's Wife (talk) 22:25, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's now been over 30 days, and there has been no objection to the merge. Should someone go ahead and merge it? Note that this will necessarily be a selective paste merger, as some content from this page is already on the Great Journeys page.
