Fair use rationale for Image:Lxadmin-logo.gif[edit]

Image:Lxadmin-logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kloxo[edit]

It has since been renamed Kloxo! This needs to be updated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.209.208.113 (talk) 21:27, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done - User: shauntp 14 June 2009 12:26pm GMT +10

Installapp and LxAdmin (now Kloxo)[edit]

These shoud be merged, installapp is just a "feature" of Koloxo (FKA LxAdmin). Perhaps some info regarding recenet issues @ lxlabs should be added http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/08/webhost_attack & http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/09/lxlabs_funder_death/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.195.205.16 (talk) 20:49, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, added. Although his death could be elaborated on (I honestly don't have the time). - User: shauntp 14 June 2009 12:26pm GMT +10 —Preceding undated comment added 02:40, 14 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]

article is a disaster[edit]

Much like what has happened with LXAdmin/Kloxo this article is a nightmare. Theres no reason to provide unsourced information regarding suicide in a control panel wiki. Your never going to be able to prove or deny what the motivations were for someone that kills themselves.

I also don't understand the competing control panels portion. Webmin is not competing with anyone, it's an open-source free bug-free system. Webmin does have a product Virtualmin that may fall into the realm of such but being a webhost myself and a previous licensee of LXadmin software since the death of the owner i've yet to be contacted about anything.Woods01 (talk) 23:17, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I agree, this article is in need of, A) more information and Citations and B) needs to have that part of suicide omitted. 75.172.196.235 (talk) 17:11, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Down[edit]

Since October 2016 lxcenter.org, the home of kloxo, is down. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.217.102.120 (talk) 10:51, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the GitHub project page and the project description now says " ** Dec 12 2016 ---> NEW LIFE SOON **". Not exactly authoritative but perhaps worth checking back in on later this year. --Bratling (talk) 11:30, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
