Massacre or massacres[edit]

Should this article be at Kočevski Rog massacres instead? It is apparent that there was more than one massacre. "Massacre" and "massacres" have little between them on Google Books hits. If anything, "massacres" seems more associated with the recent literature. Thoughts? Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 05:30, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since different published sources use both terms, it might as well retain the current title unless there's a more compelling reason to move it. The set of postwar massacres in the forest comprised a single "event" with a limited time span and location, so the singular is not misleading—like grouping a set of armed engagements with a limited time span and location into a "battle" (in the singular). Reverting IP edits which are barely and unreliably sourced; also incomprehensible in English[edit]

I removed the text added by an IP for the reasons stated in the edit summary and in the title of this section of the thread. Probably related to similar removal of similar text back in December 2015 (see above).
