Kandalf & TSR[edit]

Anyone else think that Kandalf also bears a strong resemblance to the TSR's old wizard logo from 1978 to '80 ?

Actually, yeah, I was about to say! He's just facing the other direction and a bit more stylized! I think the move from Kandalf to Konqi is more likely from this, the TSR similarity. Besides, Gandalf is not a Tolkien creation, but a dwarf from the Norse mythology. Indeed. While I was poking around a preview build of KDE Plasma 5, I noticed the "About KDE" dialogue box used these designs, so I'm betting the new design is here to stay for good. --DSA510 Pls No Bully 07:09, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
