Note to reviewer: Please add links where appropriate in the new version. Information is based on web.archive.org's records of the change of the website. After more research, this card seems to change between VISA and MasterCard often, is this something this article needs to cover? The given link to support the 2011 change is effectively dead, but certainly doesn't provide any supporting evidence, and I cannot find any evidence for that year. I do find evidence of the program beginning before 2007, but test markets may not be relevant here. Bold added to denote changes and should not be carried into the edits.

Current:

Kroger Personal Finance was introduced in 2007 to offer branded Visa cards; mortgages; home equity loans; pet, renter's and home insurance; identity theft protection; and wireless services.[2] In 2011, Kroger dropped its contract with MasterCard and now offers store credit and debit cards through Visa.[126]

New:

Kroger Personal Finance was introduced in 2007 to offer branded Visa cards; mortgages; home equity loans; pet, renter's and home insurance; identity theft protection; and wireless services.[2] In August 2017 Kroger announced the 1-2-3 REWARDS program would become MasterCard branded cards issued through U.S. Bank(Link 2), and by March 2018 had forwarded its 123rewardscard.com site to krogermastercard.com.

Partly done: I added a differently-worded version of your first sentence. The second sentence about the website forwarding is not useful information. I also used a different source than the one you provided, and added another sentence with another reference about the partial refusal of Visa credit cards. — Tartan357 (Talk) 07:47, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Map

Has anyone ever thought of doing a store location map? I think it should be done in two colors: blue for Kroger-branded stores, and red for their other chains. Thoughts? Jgera5 (talk) 01:39, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
